Friendship Pen Care Services ("we", "us") operates this website and receives inquiries from the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, Canada. This notice explains how we handle personal information collected through our website forms.
What we collect
Depending on the form you use, we collect contact details (name, email, phone), your general location, and the answers you provide about the support, housing, employment or partnership you are inquiring about. Caregiver applicants may upload a resume. We do not ask for detailed medical histories, Social Insurance Numbers, banking information or unnecessary financial details, and we ask that you do not include them.
Why we collect it
We use your information only to respond to your inquiry or application, to assess how we may be able to help, to follow up with you, and to keep appropriate records. If you separately opt in, we may send occasional updates; you can withdraw that consent at any time. Optional marketing consent is never a condition of submitting a form.
Consent
By submitting a form you consent to the collection and use described here. If you submit information about another person, please make sure you have their permission or are otherwise authorized to share it. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Information is accessed only by authorized staff. We use trusted service providers to host our website, store files securely and send internal notifications, under obligations to protect your information. We may disclose information where required by law.
Security
Submissions are stored in a secured database with access restricted to authorized administrators who sign in with protected accounts. Internal email notifications do not include the details of your submission.
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Closed inquiries and inactive applications are deleted according to our retention schedule, or sooner on request where permitted by law.
Your rights
Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial laws, you may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you have concerns.
